We will pick you up at your hotel or place of accommodation within the urban perimeter of Bogotá. Outside this perimeter, it can lead to extra costs.

— Crossing the savannah we’ll arrive at the Nemocón’s town, an indigenous word that means “warrior’s cry”, there, underground awaits 1,600 meters of tunnels of the first salt mine exploited in Colombia.
— Natural History Museum: Have a sneak peek of how it was formed the region of Bogotá and its surroundings among fossils of mastodons, Megatheriums, plesiosaurus, and ammonites.
— Descent: The salt mine is entered through large German doors 3 meters high, original from 1817, supported by thick eucalyptus timbers. The salt is filtered through the vegetable fibers, solidifying the trunk and fossilizing it, making them stronger than a rock.
— Reception chamber: With a ceiling that exceeds 30 meters high, up to 60 meters below ground, where you can see the first stalagmite and stalactite formations, that by the interior air take forms of roots and figures.
— Chamber: of the brine mirrors. These are old saturation tanks, here takes place the magic when the salt crystals, with the lights, ceilings, and walls, create a marvelous optical illusion of a nonexistent abyss.
— Chamber of lovers: Find the hearth of the mountain, the salt crystal of 1,600 kilos, the largest in South America, found in 1905 and carved in the shape of the heart in the ‘60s by the miner Miguel Sanchez, called “The Heart of Nemocon.”
— Ascent. Keep discovering the secrets of this place, like the underground chapel, the waterfall of salt, a wishing pond, history, and even a filming set.
