We pick you up at your hotel or place of accommodation from Bogotá and we leave for the state of Boyacá on a journey of approximately 9 hours with several breaks on the road.
8:00 am. Arrival at the municipality of El Cocuy, breakfast, Check-in at the Hotel, and rest
1:00 p.m. Time for lunch
2:00 p.m. Registration in National Natural Parks of Colombia. Talk and recommendations to enter the El Cocuy National Natural Park
3:00 p.m. Ecological walk for acclimatization and adaptation in which you will see landscapes of páramo in the viewpoint hill.
4:00 p.m. City tour. We will tour the urban area of El Cocuy learning about the history, architecture, and economy of the locals.
5:30 p.m. Back to the hotel. Leisure time. The purchase of food for lunch the next day in the mountain is recommended.
4:00 a.m. Breakfast and departure to the Sierra Nevada del Cocuy
5:30 am. Trekking, hiking and ascent.
