What our travelers say:
ITINERARY
04:00 p.m. We pick you up at your hotel or accommodation place in Bogotá and depart to the state of Boyacá on a journey of approximately two hours and a half.
06:00 p.m. Boyaca’s Battle Bridge: This place is a national heritage due to its history and importance for Colombia’s development. About 1,100 figures that represent the essence of the people of Boyacá, its fauna, and its flora are lightened up for your wonder.
08:20 p.m. Little Boyaca’s town (Duitama): Seven small squares lit up and 124 houses sums up the different kinds of architecture around Colombia and the prettiest towns on it.
10:00 p.m. Nobsa town: One of the main Christmas attractions alludes to an old legend, which is the talking tree. “Legend has it that the fig blooms for the only time on New Year’s Eve at midnight.” this is the ‘’wise tree’’ a mechatronic eco-friendly structure that interacts with visitors and tells legends, fables, tales, and stories of the region. Here also resides the church with the best Christmas lights in the country.
10:40 p.m. Time for dinner at Nobsa.
11:30 p.m. Mongui: This little town belongs to the network of Heritage Towns of Colombia, travelers find a destination with cobblestone streets and colonial houses that during the Christmas season lighten up the streets full of charm.
12:00 p.m. Corrales, the Light Town: Last stop, but not least. Being the winner of several Christmas lighting contests in the country, the central square of Corrales is dressed in lights, with illumination that covers the façade of all municipal buildings. It is very common to climb to the roof of the small chapel where the nativity scene is located to have a panoramic view of the town center.
